SMS Policy
Users may choose to receive SMS messages from Abstract Markup in one or more of the following ways:
- In account settings - Existing users can enable or disable SMS notifications in their account settings section at any time.
- Through explicit consent - Users may also opt in verbally or in writing when contacting our support team. Any such consent is recorded internally.
We log the date, time, IP address, and source of each opt-in action as proof of consent. We retain proof of opt-in and opt-out events (date, time, and method) as required for compliance.
We send SMS messages only for operational and security purposes. These may include:
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) codes for account access.
- Account and license updates (e.g., changes to your account status or renewal reminders)
- Product notifications related to system updates or feature changes.
Users may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message received from Abstract Markup.
- Adjusting SMS preferences in account settings.
